Ace director Mani Ratnam will release music maestro A.R. Rahman's first authorized conversational biography 'A.R. Rahman: The Spirit Of Music' in a function to be held on April 6.
The book, published by Om Books International, was penned by renowned writer Nasreen Munni Kabir. The book is a journey through Rahman's private life and his music. It has photographs from his personal archives and a free music album, composed by A.R. Rahman himself.
Ajay Mago of Om Books International said in a statement that it was a rare honour to publish A.R. Rahman's biography. Nasreen Munni Kabir has worked over three years to complete the book which has a CD with A.R. Rahman's compositions for free distribution with the first edition, he added.
