Selvaragavan created a new world for the film

Looks like the team of Selvaraghavan's Irandam Ulagam is leaving no stone unturned to make sure the audience like the film. We hear that apart from the interesting story line and some power-packed performances from the cast including Arya and Anushka, one of the many things that will hold the audience's attention is the breath-taking visuals.

A source from the production house reveals, "Selvaraghavan was particular that the locations where he would shoot for the film have to be out of the world. He wanted to create an irandam ulagam (second world), something that the audience has not seen before. The team checked out a few places in north India, including Ladhak, but the audience would have seen them in one film or the other. So, they chose some never-shot-before-at locations for the film."

The source adds, "We shot in Hyderabad, Goa, Rajamundhry and Chennai in the country. We then travelled to Rio de Janeiro (in Brazil) and Utah (in USA), and Georgia for a 90-day schedule. We also shot a song in Uzbekistan. All the shots were canned outdoor, and schedules were held at locations where there were bare minimum infrastructure. Keith Devlin, who has worked on several Hollywood films including Avatar, joined the crew as the visual effects supervisor, and he travelled with the unit to oversee the CG compatibility. The film involves a lot of CG work and was simultaneously done at studios in Mumbai and Hyderabad. It's Selva's vision and the team is happy the film has shaped up well."

Irandam Ulagam, produced by Param V Potluri for PVP Cinema and presented by Pearl V Potluri, will release in Tamil and Telugu by the third week of November.
